For 2011, Trek offers a completely new carbon fiber Tri Bike by designing a bike specifically focused on the needs of triathletes. Starting with the Speed Concept's FVR Aerodynamic tubes, KVF is stiffer than teardrop airfoils of the same aspect ratio and size. This reinforced stiffness allows you to put power into the pedals for faster acceleration. Using TCT carbon fiber, the frame is light, comfortable and aerodymanic thanks to the KVF designed tubes and carbon fiber materiel. Trek integrates a hidden rear brake caliper for a more aerodyamic advantage as well as internal routing.
