HOURS
Store hours: 10:00am - 8:00pm CST Monday and Wednesday; 10:00am - 5:00 pm - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Closed on Sundays


CREDIT CARD/PAYMENT
We accept VISA, MASTER CARD, DISCOVER, AMEX, PayPal and wire transfers.  


PHONE ORDERS
For security reasons, all orders must be placed online by the credit cardholder. Please make sure that your phone number, billing address and shipping address are on file with your credit card company. We do not accept phone orders unless you have a history of placing orders online. If you have questions about an item, please feel free to contact us prior to ordering.


BACKORDERS
We try as hard as we can to avoid backorders. As a practice we do not hold backorders. We may, however, contact you when we receive a backordered item back in stock. To be sure to get your backordered item, we ask that you check back with us or send an email to sales@cbike.com requesting to be notified when an item becomes available.


TOTAL TIME FOR SHIPPING
Total time is based on the amount of time it takes to get payment authorization, order processing, and the transit time from the carrier. This can range from 24 hours to 10 days for in-stock items. We try to ship all orders within 72 hours of receiving your order.   This includes Next Day, 2nd Day and Expedited orders.  Customer is responsible for all freight charges.


LOCAL PICKUPS at Retail Store
Products listed on our website are kept in our warehouse which is not open to the public and not on display at our retail store.   If you would like to pick up your order at our retail store, please place your order online, and include a note that you would like to pickup your order at our retail store.  We will notify you when your order is ready for pickup.  Usually, it takes 48-72 hours to transfer your order to our retail store.




BIKE ORDERS - In Store

SIZING
Bikes come in many different sizes and we want to make sure that you have the appropriate size. We recommend that you visit our retail store for your bike purchase. This way you will be sized properly.

Bike Order Pick-Up
Some items are not permitted to be shipped, however they can be purchased online and picked up at your convenience. Please remember bikes in stock may still take time to build. We will either email or call you to let you know when your bike will be ready for pick up. If you prefer a particular date and time, please notate this in the "Additional Info" field.

 

UPS National Delivery Times
All items listed on our website will be shipped within the United States including Air Service to Hawaii and Alaska.

APO/FPO
Chicagoland Bicycle also ships to military bases - APO/FPO via USPS.  
 
International
We use UPS Expedited Shipping. Select International Customer when checking out. If your credit card is registered outside the USA, we must verify your credit card information prior to processing your order.  Please make sure that your credit card company is informed of your order as well as the shipping address if it's different from your billing address. Customer is responsible for all customs and duties. All items entering a foreign country are subject to customs inspection and the assessment of duties and taxes in accordance with that country's national laws. The buyer is responsible for all duties and taxes incurred. If the order is refused and sent back to cbike.com, customer is responsible for the return fees assessed by UPS and billed to your credit card.


RETURN POLICY
We want you to be happy with your purchase. Within seven (7) days from the receipt of your order, if you would like to return an item (or items), please send the item(s) with a copy of the original order/receipt and a note stating that you'd like to return the item(s) for credit.   Please make sure the item(s) returned are in restockable condition with all boxes, tags and wrapping still intact.  Chicagoland Bicycle does not issue credit for shipping and handling charges.  There is a 5% restocking fee for all returned items.  All special order items are non-refundable. Any item that has been used or installed is not returnable. All return merchandise must be accompanied  a copy of the original invoice.  Any item where the display packaging is damaged will be assessed an additional 15% service charge. EXCHANGE POLICY
If there are any discrepancies in shipping, please notify Chicagoland Bicycle by email within two working days upon receipt of order.  Within seven (7) days from the receipt of your order, if you would like to exchange an item (or items), please send the item(s) with a copy of the original order/receipt and a note stating that you'd like to exchange the item(s).  Customer must pay for all shipping charges related to the exchange.  All special order items cannot be exchanged or returned.

Chicagoland Bicycle cannot accept any merchandise for exchange that has been installed, used, damaged, soiled or tags removed.  Merchandise for exchange must be in the same condition as you received it otherwise it will be refused and sent back to customer. Chicagoland Bicycle assumes no responsibility for damaged or lost return shipments. Address for exchanges:

SHORTAGES AND ERRORS
In the event of a shortage or error on your shipment, please contact us within two working days of receiving your order. We will make every attempt to rectify these problems to your satisfaction. All shipments are double checked and weighed for accuracy.


REFUSED ORDERS
All refused orders will be charged a 5% restocking fee in addition to all freight charges.


WARRANTY
Chicagoland Bicycle does not handle any warranty work.  All warranty work is handled by the distributor or service center (Campagnolo, Cateye, Garmin, Polar, Tacx).  If you have a warranty issue for any item that you purchased through our store, please contact us by email to make the necessary arrangements.

SHIPPING DAMAGE
Any shipping damage must be reported to the freight carrier. Remember to save the box and all packaging for inspection.
