Powershield Jacket
Nalini's APEX award Powershield jacket is a highly advanced soft shell jacket that's
warm, lightweight, breathable, water and wind resistant, abrasion resistant and extremely
durable. Made from Polartec® Power Shield® textile, the jacket is designed to
replace the traditional fleece/shell jacket system. The Nalini provides
wind resistance without sacrificing breathability—the ideal garment for extremely
cold weather cycling. The technical cut combined with its unique fabric design to deliver
optimum performance while providing three critical "microclimate" functions -
moisture transfer, breathability and thermal management.

The Nalini PowerShield
Thermo Bib Tights feature the same material used in the PowerShield jacket.
The Nalini Thermaltights feature a smooth,
tightly woven nylon and polyester velour back that
traps air and provides a high warmth-to-weight ratio. Patent-pending Air Control
Technology® (ACT)
enables the fabric to block 98% of the wind. The remaining 2% is allowed to circulate
within the fabric,
which greatly enhances moisture vapor transmission
and improves breathability, reducing the risk of heat stress buildup.
These tights are perfect for riding in extremely cold weather (below 40 degrees).
