Colnago integrates a spectacular performance-enhancing upgrade - a
lightweight, race-inspired high modulus carbon fiber chassis for quicker, smoother
response in the most challenging environments. The overall result is a frame that
weighs 200 grams less than last year's 50th Anniversary frame. Taking a closer look
at the President and one can see the beautiful woven twill pattern that signifies the
carbon fiber material that lies underneath.
All Colnago carbon fiber frames benefit from the
continual pursuit of performance enhancements that have characterized the Colnago Carbon
Fiber Era. The enhancements for 2005 are subtle in terms of physical properties, but
significant in terms of the frame's performance and feel while maintaining stable
handling for the demands of daily cycling. Keep in mind, the refinements of the
carbon fiber material are a result of extensive testing and development, and working
closely with Ferrari, ATR S.p.A. as well as other top Italian engineers and scientists.
Colnago produces all of the frames in-house (Cambiago, Italy) and meticulously
oversees each step of the production process. Colnago is very proud of its heritage
