Colnago Extreme-C Road Frameset

Though other framemakers are offering carbon fiber framesets, Ernesto Colnago is credited with designing the first high quality carbon fiber road bikes. It was his idea to show the world the advantages of carbon fiber road bikes by putting his top pro cyclists on the road and to the test. Despite its unparalleled design, one look at Colnago's carbon fiber material and you know this is no ordinary carbon fiber frame.  The lure of the Colnago carbon fiber construction is certainly more than just hype.   Colnago uses the finest carbon fiber material available in the world.  Colnago is one of the only bicycle manufacturers worldwide certified ISO 9001. ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the only world-wide organization that guarantees and certifies the attainment and maintenance of quality standards in design (the safety and quality of materials used in production) as well as in every element of production. Once a company attains ISO 9001 certification, it must be maintained year after year, requiring a continual investment in resources and process management. Colnago carbon fiber frames are authentically Made In Italy; not only for the great design, but above all for the technique, material and technology one finds inside each and every one.

Colnago Extreme-C Road Frameset
While the C50 continues to be the more versatile bicycle, Colnago now has a climbing-specific frame for those who mostly climb mountains.  The Extreme C is the perfect choice for those who ride in California, Colorado and other areas where you encounter some difficult climbs.  The Colnago Extreme-C weighs 150 grams lighter than the C50 strada.  Colnago also uses a more rigid chainstay for increased power transmission.  Available as a frameset or as a complete bicycle built to your specifications.

Prices*: We offer the Colnago Extreme C as either a frameset or as a complete build kit or bicycle
