Cinelli offers its second generation integrated handlebar that has been revamped to incorporate a totally new design. The position of the entrance holes for the brake cables has been lifted so that the hand position is higher and more comfortable. The variable radius drop (Variable Radius Concept) is unique and innovative allowing your hands to follow the arc of the drop smoothly, without feeling any gaps.  You are also able to reaching the brake levers easier and safer.

2008 Cinelli Ram Solo Handlebar

The top section of the bar which follows the shape of RAM, has been developed to offer more comfort and to create suitable zones for the position of the hands:

• NEST ZONE is an area shaped to “nest” the palm of the hand in the high position on the brake levers.
• THUMB ZONE is an area in the central part near the stem, created to support the thumb more comfortably in a resting position.

The end section of the drop has been extended to obtain a better and more secure hold on the low grip, often not considered by many manufacturers. The Variable Radius Concept round drops reduce the distance of the brake levers to 77mm and at the same time reduce also the depth and height of the handlebar. The cables run inside the handlebar.  The handlebar is measured center to center and available in 40 cm., 42 cm., or 44 cm.  Clamp diameter is 31.8mm.  (42cm. weighs 230 gms)
