This design creates an 'active ventilation' effect, pumping air through the area while riding to keep you more comfortable during long distance riding.

Air Cushion System

.The Air Cushion System (ACS) features a concave shape so the rider's weight is sustained by the external part of the ACS whereas the contact with the saddle is guaranteed in the inner part. This enables you to have ideal contact with the saddle with the highest level of comfort.  ACS absorbs the shock transferred from the saddle to the rider.  Shock absorption and all compressions and decompressions of the ACS during the normal cycling activity create a hydraulic air ventilation which removes moisture and cools the body.

There are four versions of the ACS: Racing, Training, Long Distance and Lady.
The Racing Pad is structured in order to give better comfort to the cyclist that prefers a position leaning forward (typical of the racers).  The Training Pad is designed for the cyclist who prefers a more relaxed position. The Long Distance Pad is a blending of Racing and Training pads to offer a pad specifically designed for long distance riding and racing. The Lady Pad is specially designed for the anatomy of a woman.
