FI.13 insert consists of two
separate components, the dynamic memory foam covered by the E.I. anti-friction skin
contact textile. Both components have similar elastic properties and interact
allowing increased freedom of movement and superior fit.

The Assos FI-13 S-2
features:
- Improved textile to extend the life of the bibs
- Center cutout insert that limits compression upon the
perineal area
- Dynamic Memory Foam padded insert that absorbs road
vibration
- Thinner insert so it doesn't feel like you're wearing a
diaper
- Counter-sunk stitching that attaches the insert to the
short prevent skin irritation
- Small reflective strip on the lower portion of the leg for
more visibility on the road
- BI-Elastic microfiber rear mess design that keeps
suspenders in place without restricting movement
- ACFX Lycra® ASSOS Type A.360 Spandex textile
(DuPont®) which optimizes muscle compression, reduces muscle fatigue and increases
endurance.
- Tailored design especially in the stomach area to reduce
baggy material when in tucked position.

What makes the Assos foam insert so special?
Upon putting on the short it is immediately evident that the "diaper" effect,
found in other shorts, is gone. Once on the road the level of comfort is immediately
noticeable. The Dynamic Memory Foam insert adapts to your saddle and relieves pressure on
the pudendal nerve through the incorporation of a hollowed-out slot design in the perinea
area. To appreciate the technology hours in the saddle is not necessary but is evident in
the first miles. The insert becomes barely noticeable and enters into a perfect synchrony
with your muscles and skin, freely moving with every pedal stroke. If you are fortunate
enough to ride an FI.13, you will experience a new dimension in riding comfort. |
